Which format should I choose?
MP3 plays everywhere. M4A is best for quality when the video has AAC audio, as is typical of phones, because the sound is copied without re-encoding. WAV is uncompressed and suits audio editing, but its files are large.
Which MP3 bitrate is best?
128 kbps is plenty for speech, 192 kbps suits most music, and 320 kbps is the highest MP3 allows. A higher bitrate cannot add quality the original does not have.
Can I extract audio from a YouTube or TikTok link?
No. This tool works only with video files on your device. It does not download anything from other sites.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
It is designed to work in current mobile browsers, but it has not yet been tested on every device. Very long videos may run out of memory on a phone.
